Water-Bath Canning: Garlic Dill Pickles

Cost $65

 

Join Lori and friends in the Silly Dog Studios kitchen (aka, our home kitchen) to learn how to prepare and make beautiful, shelf-stable jars of garlic dill pickles using fresh-picked cucumbers from a local farm. Lori has been home canning in Western Washington for 25 years as an adult and before that she canned with her mother and grandmothers in South Dakota. You will leave with at least 6 jars of your own delicious garlic dill pickles that are shelf stable for up to two years (although best/crunchiest within one year). You will also leave with the confidence and knowledge to make more on your own and feeling more connected to home canners everywhere. The cost of this class includes the cost of supplies (e.g., jars, rings, lids, and produce and other ingredients) and instruction and safety handouts.
